Assisting in the promotion of culture, national heritage, performing arts, traditional and rural arts in conformity with the prescribed Laws, Acts and Ordinances towards conservation of national heritage and maintenance of culture, literature and arts at high standards and also assisting in the management of archeological heritage of Sri Lanka.
ජාතික උරුමයන් සංරක්ෂණය කිරීම සහ සංස්කෘතිය, සාහිත්‍ය සහ කලාව ඉහළ ප්‍රමිතියකින් යුතුව පවත්වාගෙන යාම සඳහා අදාළ නීති සහ අණ පනත්වලට අනුකූලව සංස්කෘතිය, ජාතික උරුම, ප්‍රාසාංග කලා, පාරම්පරික හා ග්‍රාමීය කලා ශිල්පී කටයුතු ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීමට සහය වීම සහ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ පුරාවිද්‍යාත්මක උරුමය කළමණනාකරණය කිරීම සඳහා සහය වීම.
தேசிய மரபுரிமைகளை பாதுகாத்தல் மற்றும் கலாச்சாரம், இலக்கியம் மற்றும் கலை என்பவற்றை தரத்தில் உயர்ந்ததாக பேணிச்செல்லும் பொருட்டு உரிய சட்டங்களுக்கும் மற்றும் கட்டளை சட்டங்களுக்கும் இணங்க கலாச்சாரம், தேசிய மரபுரிமைகள், அருங்கலைகள், பாரம்பரிய மற்றும் கிராமிய கலை அம்சங்கள் என்பவற்றை ஊக்குவிக்க உதவுதல் மற்றும் இலங்கையில் காணப்படும் தொல்பொருள் மதிப்புமிக்க மரபுரிமைகளை முகாமை செய்ய உதவுதல்.
